Hello all,

It has certainly been some time since I uploaded anything. I guess my fellow students and I can attest to the hardships of the Animation course.

Anyway, I am uploading two animation line tests for the infamous bouncing ball assignments. One is the ball going from left to right, and the other is the ball going in the same direction, but it begins to bounce by itself and, most notably, is in two point perspective, whereas the first is flat on bouncing from left to right. Even so, both are attempts at drawing 3D.

Comments are more than welcome.

Here are some more silly drawings done recently. The hobo character was inspired by a real hobo in Montreal. Watching him sing heavy metal songs for spare change was enough to make the trip worthwhile. God bless him. And I know the clown has ghost feet and the girl has ghost hands, but you noticed anyway, right? Nothing gets past you, you sly devil!

So, I had another little character design gig, very small really, which had me trying to come up with a toy design for a toy manufacturer in Mexico. I handed in three views (which are flawed, of course) with two different types of face. These were not meant to be perfect, just to show the general idea, so try no to tear me apart too badly, HEH!

The design is very simple, and very cute, but money is money!

Hey Alan,

I wanted to redo my two-angle room entirely but I could not do it on time for today- what I have is next to nothing- so I think I will stick to my originals (which were not bad to begin with) and just really spice them up, rather than making two new ones.

Anyway, I hope I can get it done for the following week.

At the Movies!

These are a couple of sketches that I did last night at the movie theatre while I was sitting at the café in the main foyer waiting for my own movie to start, which was the delectable PERSEPOLIS. Anyone who is a fan of either animation- or movies in general for that matter- should do themselves a favour and go see it! It RAWKS.
